About The Position

PSI ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscience Container Delivery Driver to support local routes in Twin Falls, ID! The position will be responsible for driving specified routes to pick up and deliver recycling and garbage containers to new and existing customers. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk consistent pace, and occasional bending. This position will also be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers. Schedule- Monday-Friday, Starting time 6:00am until route is completed. Occasional overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 75lbs.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical.
• CDL is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate delivery truck to deliver containers.
• Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, lifting and moving containers that weigh over 75 pounds.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
• Courteous interaction with our customers.
• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
