About The Position

The Contact Center Agent I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members by answering service calls, assisting with account inquiries, and promoting credit union products and services. This role involves handling various member requests, conducting account maintenance, and ensuring timely processing of transactions while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements

  • Two years of financial institution experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Answers member service calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provides information as requested on member's accounts or credit union products and services.
  • Cross-sells credit union products and services to members as appropriate.
  • Performs members' requests and conducts account maintenance.
  • Assists members with online banking related questions and troubleshooting.
  • Performs telephone transfers, wire transfers, check orders, stop payments, address changes, and opens new accounts.
  • Processes member requests in a timely manner.
  • Assists members with any Debit/VISA related questions.
