About The Position

The Continuous Improvement Lead Consultant leads organization level strategy and implementation of CI competencies from a position of technical expertise and project management. Provides skills development for team members, leaders and stakeholders. Specific CI competency is identified by organizational demand and matched to Lead Consultant expertise (examples include: Data & Statistical Analysis, KT Problem Solving and Decision Analysis, Cause Mapping, 3P, Queuing Theory / Simulations (using software tools), Project / Program / Portfolio Management, Change Management, Training techniques). Requirements

• Bachelors engineering, business, healthcare or related field with 4-7 years improvement experience (such as Baldrige, Six Sigma DMAIC, Process/Continuous Improvement, Lean, Project Management, etc.)
• Training or certification from reputable source in one or more of the following: Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt), PMP, Baldridge, change management

Nice To Haves

• Masters and 7-10 years improvement experience
• experience in applying additional methodologies (agile PM, TWI, human factors, human centered design, just culture, high reliability, Kepner-Tregoe etc.)

Responsibilities

• Pairs with Senior Consultants when scoping engagement requirements, planning work efforts, and aligning stakeholders related to their lead CI competency(ies).
• Demonstrates expert level abilities to apply CI tools: Process Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma), Project Management, Change Management and Facilitation and specific lead competency (ies)
• Leads, trains and coaches others in engagements relating to their lead competency (ies)
• Leads the requirement gathering, deployment recommendations and stakeholder analysis for specific CI Competency/Methodology.
• All other duties as assigned
