About The Position

Dazed our consumption lounge is seeking a General Manager. Prior cannabis with F&B experience is preferred. Summary The General Manager of Dazed! Consumption Lounge oversees the day-to-day operations of the lounge in compliance with the State of Nevada and the Executive Team. This role is also accountable for enhancing bottom-line revenue through the implementation of sales plans, sales promotions, and ensuring an outstanding customer service experience within the lounge. Given the dynamic nature of the business, it is essential for the General Manager to sustain open availability, being ready to be present and on-site as necessary. This commitment encompasses holidays, special events, callouts, and other operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • NV State Agent Card Required.
  • OSHA 30 Required (company paid) to be completed within 6 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.
  • Ensure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the store.
  • Maintaining and analyzing records for sales, inventory, and employee development/correction.
  • Provide necessary weekly sales updates, as requested by VP of Sales & Marketing and the VP of Retail.
  • Comply with retail cash handling policies and perform daily cash management responsibilities per policy.
  • Maintain a culture of integrity, high quality customer service and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
  • Stays current with industry news and product information.
  • Assist State and Local government auditors and law enforcement with inventory, sales, and compliance audits.
  • Collaborates with accounting team members for reporting and fund maintenance.
  • Complete facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary including phone, utilities, technology, maintenance, repairs, stock and supplies.
  • Define and implement policies and performance standards.
  • Coordinates with VP of Sales and Marketing on sales promotion activities and prepares or directs workers preparing promotional campaigns.
  • Answers customer's complaints or inquiries.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules .
