About The Position

Responsible for providing a variety of services to meet the dealer service needs of established business clients and developing new business relationships through the Consumer Loan Department.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in a related field of study preferred
  • Minimum of three years experience in a related position required
  • Specialized indirect lending education and training preferred
  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communications skills required
  • Knowledge of current indirect lending regulations and operating policies and procedures related to indirect loan services preferred
  • Knowledge of indirect loan products and services preferred
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business
  • Ability to life up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to travel and Valid Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

  • Establishes ongoing prospect lists to implement dealer sales calling program. Identifies new business opportunities. Expands Company’s territory and solicits new business. Makes appropriate recommendations prior to the opening of a relationship with the bank and annually thereafter. Takes advantage of cross-selling opportunities.
  • Informs department personnel of activities/problems. Acts as liaison to maintain positive relationships among the Dealer/Bank relationships. Maintains a current awareness of changes in dealership personnel and of competitors who solicit dealers. Responds proactively in cultivating and maintaining profitable business. Troubleshoots problems for the dealer as well as the company.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of the dealer service products and services. Complies with operating policies and procedures established for the dealer services function.
  • Presents and explains services to dealers. Provides brochures, paperwork, etc. for dealer review. Keeps dealer informed of rate changes and buying policies.
  • Promotes goodwill. Entertains dealers periodically, within established dealer services budget. Attends promotional and/or other special events sponsored by both the company and the dealer. May work outside normal business hours as needed.
  • Jointly establishes quantitative client service and sales objectives with assigned supervisor on an annual basis. Gathers, analyzes and reports status of Indirect Department in comparison to prior year’s figures. Monitors individual client service and sales objectives. Provides sales information on a timely basis in order that this information may be included as part of performance reports.
  • Maintains required dealer services documentation, insuring compliance with company policy and state and federal regulations. Informs dealers of changes in regulations and ensures their compliance with regulations and company policy.
  • Trains dealers on computer systems utilized by Indirect Department for ease of application input.
  • Conforms to General Performance Expectations as identified for all employees.
