About The Position

The Consumer Sales Trainer at Ziply Fiber is responsible for developing and implementing training strategies and programs for the sales organization, aimed at enhancing the productivity and performance of the Direct Sales team. This role involves overseeing training delivery, learning assessments, and performance progress of Consumer Sales personnel, primarily in a remote capacity with occasional travel to local offices. The trainer will facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring that sales staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent on-the-job training or experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in sales training and development.
  • Experience in telecom or a similar industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Sales Training roles in growth organizations.
  • Experience fostering a stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training strategy, program, and curriculum for the sales organization.
  • Launch all Residential and SMB product training, including new and existing products and related pricing.
  • Facilitate sales training covering scripting, time management, sales efficiency, and increasing close rates.
  • Condense complex and technical content into an effective sales-focused framework for course development and execution.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to meet sales enablement needs and training requirements.
  • Deliver a blended learning model that includes both face-to-face and virtual classroom-based learning.
  • Regularly observe team member performance on calls and client communication, providing ongoing coaching and mentoring.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of the sales training program.
