Who you are: As a Consumer Residential Lending Specialist, you are responsible for managing lending activities for a small geographic region or portfolio and you will develop and market to a network of referral sources to originate loans. You utilize data driven insights regarding potential referral sources across an entire market area to ensure that calling efforts are made in a way that achieves penetration throughout a complete geographic region. More than that, this role is about building relationships and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind. What you’ll do: Initiate and maintain contact with mortgage lenders & brokers, home improvement & pool contractors, real estate agents, and other referral sources to ensure a network of community partners that help connect Frost with customers that would benefit from our loan products Serve as a back-up and provide assistance to more senior staff when necessary to ensure customers are provided with excellent service Work with other departments to ensure that all loans are closed and processed efficiently and accurately Act as a liaison between the branches and the main office, reporting changes in prices and market conditions Follow all changes in government regulations and communicate them with staff Ensure compliance with Bank policy and Federal/State laws and regulations applicable to this area Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in Mortgage/Consumer Lending
  • Proficient with Microsoft computer applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • NMLS license; the ability to transfer license to Frost or obtain license within 60 days

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced knowledge of real estate loan transactions for purchase, home equity, and home improvement loans
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
