Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years banking experience or 2 years direct consumer loan experience.
• Basic knowledge of real estate loan transactions for purchase, home equity, and home improvement loans.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and issues involving loans, payments, maintenance, etc.
• Review loan documentation prior to closing and make appropriate parties aware of deficiencies and/or problems.
• Determine available closing dates in accordance with loan guidelines and schedule closing with customers; assist in the actual closing as requested.
• Communicate with customers, referral sources, Consumer Credit Approval, title companies, and contractors to obtain all documentation necessary for completing loans transactions.
• Work with other departments to ensure that all loans are closed and processed efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policy and Federal/State laws and regulations applicable to this area.
