About The Position

We are currently hiring for our next Communications Co-Op at our office in the Seaport District of Boston, MA. This position is from July 2026-December 2026. What You'll Brew: Support the Boston Beer Company communications team including external, internal and consumer communications Manage the day-to-day responses to drinker contacts across all brands using CRM system Answer consumer inquiries by email promptly and thoroughly in a friendly and courteous manner Write and maintain brand messaging for drinker-facing communications Assist in regular data mining and brand insights reporting Prepare and send mailers to media and drinkers including but not limited to: product samples, refund checks, swag, etc. Build media lists, editorial calendars, pitch materials, research backgrounders, and provide general PR support for brand leads Attend team, department and cross-functional meetings for exposure to other areas of the business and stretch opportunities as desired

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program
  • Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment
  • Must be able to commute daily to the Boston Design Center in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.
  • Candidate must be confident, collaborative, solutions-oriented and self-starter who is an adept multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior professional experience is required, preferably with some customer service experience
  • Sound judgment and risk assessment skills
  • Good team player: you will interact with many people in the company, and we are the voice of the company.
  • A willingness to learn about Boston Beer Company products and history

Nice To Haves

  • Course work and interest in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint, and Outlook
