Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 5 years in a related consumer real estate sales position.
  • Thorough knowledge of the mortgage origination process and secondary market underwriting guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and sales skills.
  • Ability to coach for results.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage all Mortgage Loan Consultants (MLCs) and their staff.
  • Lead, manage and coach the MLCs / Consumer Real Estate sales teams to align with the bank's residential real estate growth goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with mortgage professionals throughout the bank's market area.
  • Assist in recruitment and development of MLCs with $15MM or greater levels of production.
  • Develop and maintain current competitive market information.
  • Utilize reporting to assist in leading MLC teams in maintaining productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure participation in community outreach programs.
  • Mine for applications from low to moderate income groups and those in protected classes.
  • Plan and attend meetings for MLCs for training, coaching, and sales improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department and Compliance to implement marketing strategies.
  • Assist the Consumer Real Estate Sales Director in day-to-day duties.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position.
