About The Position
The State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) is currently accepting applications for multiple Consumer Protection Drug Control Agents within the Drug Control division in Hartford. The Consumer Protection Drug Control Agents can expect to act as consultants and advisors to manufacturers, wholesalers, laboratory licensees, and health care professionals regarding safeguards for drug, cosmetic, and device storage and handling. They will inspect, monitor, review, and evaluate all aspects of drug, cannabis, cosmetic, and device storage, security, recordkeeping, handling, and distribution as required by state laws and regulations. The role includes conducting inspections of licensees, submitting written reports regarding deficiencies, investigating illegal activities, and providing training to law enforcement personnel and students.
