About The Position

Responsible for assisting with the request, receipt, filing & updating regulatory information for the TekniPlex Consumer Products Division. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):  Strategic Supplier Outreach: Partner with Global Regulatory, R&D, Procurement teams to execute outreach programs. Review and approve supplier declarations, ensuring they meet specific chemical and safety requirements (e.g., PFAS, Heavy Metals, Food Contact).  Data Systems & Optimization: Build, maintain, and optimize a robust raw material regulatory tracking system. Develop and manage reporting dashboards to provide real-time visibility into compliance status.  Single Point of Contact (SPOC): Act as the primary technical resource for all raw material compliance inquiries. Ensure the seamless retrieval of raw material regulatory compliance documents upon request.  Regulatory Intelligence and Change Control: Proactively monitor global regulatory change and internal product formulation changes to assess their impact on raw material compliance. Manage the change control process by leading supplier outreach for new raw material grades or new supplier onboarding to ensure seamless transitions and uninterrupted compliance.  Meticulous Documentation: Maintain a high standard of data integrity within the RM database. Execute rigorous follow-up with suppliers to resolve missing information or non-compliant documentation. Special Projects: Lead or support ad-hoc regulatory projects, including backlog cleanup and new software implementations, as part of the departmental strategic roadmap.

Requirements

  • Technical Schools and/or Bachelor of Science in any technical field (Engineering, Food Science, Packaging, Regulatory Compliance, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Project management)
  • at least three years’ experience with basic knowledge in manufacturing and packaging conversion processes, analytical equipment and materials related areas preferred.
  • Competence in office administration, procedures, and knowledge of computers use at a level generally acquired through a minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Must be competent in using Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Handling and creation of files in SharePoint and Data bases structures.
  • Ability to learn and/or experience in Structured Data bases Applications specialized in regulatory Compliance or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as MSDS, RDS, TDS and other technical documents related to products and raw materials, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must be competent in proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Possesses good oral communication skills and telephone techniques.
  • Demonstrates a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
