About The Position
CONSUMER LOAN UNDERWRITER Job Overview: The candidate for this position will assist in organizing consumer loan packages for internal underwriting, while adhering to regulatory compliance requirements. The candidate for this position will be responsible for: Analyzing credit reports, approving or denying loan applications, and marketing additional Fidelity Bank products and services to our customers. Daily interaction with internal customers to convey credit decisions, review necessary documentation and arrange loan closings while making sound credit decisions.
Requirements
- A high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Two years of lending experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent public relation skills
- The ability to work late and/or flexible hours
Nice To Haves
- Lending experience with an emphasis in consumer real estate
