JOB SUMMARY The Consumer Loan Processor will have attention to detail and the ability to perform various clerical and loan processing duties accurately and efficiently. This position will also include some customer service and loan servicing capabilities for all loans and loan types offered by Minster Bank. Primary responsibility to prepare loan processing and closing documents and uploading of loans. This position is non-exempt.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience/and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, and percentages.
• Should have a good knowledge of bank products and services and be able to answer general inquiries or refer to appropriate Bank personnel.
• Operational knowledge of specific compliance regulations and loans that directly affects his/her position.

Responsibilities

• Completing loan documents and other loan related forms to ensure complete, compliant and accurate loan files.
• Review of mortgage loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
• General knowledge of bank regulatory requirements to help ensure compliance.
• Work with title agencies and attorneys for timely loan closings.
• Maintain loan documentation files for completeness and compliance.
• Files releases on UCC's, liens on titled property and prepares Satisfaction of Mortgage to cancel our security interest.
• Responsible for providing superior customer service to our customers and assisting Loan Officers and other Bank personnel in building strong customer relationships.
