This position is responsible to accurately and efficiently process a variety of loan applications, closing documents and lending inquiries and making sure all loans meet established quality standards prior to booking.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years consumer loan processing or related experience.
  • Excellent customer service, in a financial institution preferred.
  • Previous PC experience, Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Math aptitude and keyboarding skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable.
  • Ability to work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while working under pressure.
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to internal employees, 3rd party vendors and others in the processing and booking of consumer and home equity loans.
  • Accurately and efficiently process a variety of loan applications and closing documents.
  • Ensure all loans meet established quality standards prior to booking.
