About The Position

The Consumer Loan Officer I position at BancFirst involves obtaining and developing a quality loan portfolio while managing an existing portfolio. The role requires promoting BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products to both new and existing clientele. Participation in various community and public events is expected, along with consistent execution of policies and procedures. The position emphasizes extraordinary customer service at all times and requires outside business development calls. Additional job-related duties and special projects may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as an underwriting Consumer Loan Officer preferred
• Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
• Knowledge of loan processing/collection software required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications
• Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrate an independent working attitude within a team framework
• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job
