About The Position

The position is responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of Non-Real Estate consumer loan documents according to bank policy, compliance, and governing regulations. The role ensures that closing documents are prepared accurately and provided timely to bankers to meet closing dates and times.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
• One to two years of general experience.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain detailed knowledge of products, applicable laws, and S&T Bank’s Lending Policy to ensure compliance.
• Maintain proficiency in Documentation Software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet searches, E-mail, I.B.S., Consumer Loan Origination System, and Optima.
• Ensure hazard insurance has appropriate limits and coverage for vehicle loans.
• Ensure homeowners insurance and flood insurance have appropriate limits, coverage, effective dates, and S&T Bank listed in the proper mortgagee position for home equity loans.
• Monitor the S&T Closing Date Report to ensure loan documents are prepared based on closing dates requested.
• Satisfy underwriting stipulation(s) according to conditional approval.
• Review and verify all supporting documents from third parties and bankers to prepare the consumer loan documents.
• Make changes to the loan package as necessary.
• Update product log, Documentation Checklist, and internal closing calendar as work is completed.
• Assist in the training and development of Consumer Bankers.
• Prepare documents for consumer loans, following all federal and state regulations.
• Maintain a good working relationship with bank employees.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as a team player.
• Perform all additional duties as required.
