About The Position

The Consumer Lending Funding Specialist I, II, III, Senior position at Global Credit Union involves reviewing, processing, and funding loans received from business partners for vehicle loans (indirect funding). The role requires becoming knowledgeable about Consumer Lending products, services, and processes, and learning to organize loan documents for processing and record retention. The position is full-time, with regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in performing varied tasks under strict time constraints while meeting performance standards and maintaining accurate records.
• Well organized, articulate with effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in end-user computer technologies.
• Tenure requirements for Consumer Lending Funding Specialist II, III or Senior include meeting proven acceptable performance standards as established by management.

Responsibilities

• Become knowledgeable about Consumer Lending products, services, and processes.
• Learn to become proficient in organizing loan documents for processing and record retention, creating new member accounts and funding loans.
• Learn to perform all tasks and reviews, in assigned queues, leading up to the funding or disposition of new indirect loans.
• Produce an acceptable quantity of loans with a high degree of accuracy that meet service level agreements and loan volume objectives.
• Perform all duties accurately, earnestly, and honestly, and maintain a high-level confidentiality to safeguard member's information.
• Comply with all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations, and Credit Union policies, procedures, and practices.
• Respond to all inquiries within established service level agreements.
• Communicate with everyone in an articulate, diplomatic, and professional manner.
• Assist in all other areas of Consumer Lending, of similar or lower category, as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
