About The Position

The Associate Manager, Consumer Insights at Carrier will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Manager of Consumer Insights by overseeing the fire/life safety brands within the global portfolio, with a particular focus on the Kidde brand. This position is integral to the Consumer Insights team, which is dedicated to amplifying the voice of the consumer across three strategic areas: Innovation and Product Development Insights, Shopper/Channel and Sales/Trade Insights, and Consumer and Brand/Media Insights, including digital spaces and experiences. In this role, the Associate Manager will lead research initiatives that guide brand strategy, communication, and product innovation, particularly in support of internal Passport Gates. The position requires a deep understanding of custom consumer research methodologies and syndicated market insight sources, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. The ideal candidate will possess experience in consumer, shopper, and retail ad hoc research, as well as syndicated market analysis and product use testing, with a strong emphasis on digital and social environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and visual—and will have honed their storytelling abilities. Collaboration across functions in a matrixed environment is essential, as is the ability to inspire others and make bold decisions and recommendations. This role is not just about gathering data; it’s about translating insights into actionable strategies that resonate with consumers and drive business success.
