Job Title: Consumer Device Engineer I Location: US - CA - Bay Area - Remote Job Description: Safety Device Associate Safety Device Associate Responsibilities Understanding of Safety certification test plans and schedules and basic knowledge of Safety review and processes Partner with cross functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of safety test allocations, prototype prep, delivery coordination and testing schedules throughout product development process Develop and implement processes, tools and procedures to help organize programs workflow and ensure Safety Engineers SME are allowed to efficiently access information and stay informed of all program changes, schedules and deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into all aspects of operations. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and evolving safety regulations. Clear and effective communications within the safety engineering team and our XFN partners. Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast paced environment

  • Understanding of Safety certification test plans and schedules and basic knowledge of Safety review and processes
  • Partner with cross functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of safety test allocations, prototype prep, delivery coordination and testing schedules throughout product development process
  • Develop and implement processes, tools and procedures to help organize programs workflow and ensure Safety
  • Engineers SME are allowed to efficiently access information and stay informed of all program changes, schedules and deliverables.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and evolving safety regulations.

  • Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast paced environment
  • BS or AA in Electrical Engineering, Sciences or related fields
  • 5+ years of project management in a corporate setting
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully and ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively
  • Ability to work in fast paced, collaborative, cross functional environment Be a team player.
  • Have strong analytical skills and ability to create and implement solutions.
  • Experience working in consumer electronics industry
