About The Position

The Chase Digital Assets and Blockchain Solutions team is responsible for delivering next generation banking solutions to Chase customers. As the organization is new, this role offers the opportunity to help shape the vision, execute the strategy, and take on diverse responsibilities. The team focuses on three primary functions: working with lines of business on digital asset strategy, building connections with the external crypto ecosystem (startups and established companies), and executing new products through internal builds, partnerships, and acquisitions. As an Associate on the Consumer & Community Bank Digital Assets team, you will be crucial in the strategy, growth, and execution of new business opportunities in crypto, blockchain, and digital assets. This involves collaborating with lines of business to assess the evolving financial ecosystem, its implications for Chase, and identifying products and partnerships that will benefit Chase’s customers. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of the crypto/blockchain ecosystem, strong analytical skills, the ability to build relationships, and a passion for consumer financial services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in the crypto / blockchain / digital assets ecosystem with a focus on financial services
• 3+ years of strategy, partnership or deal execution experience
• Experience formulating business strategy, including structuring problems, completing analysis, and making recommendations
• Project management experience in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new or ambiguous situations without significant assistance
• Deep analytical skills, including understanding of common financial statements and ability to build financial models in Excel
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate to senior internal and external stakeholders
• Sense of urgency with disposition to execute and a demonstrated career of successful partnership and/or deal execution
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Nice To Haves

• Crypto / blockchain / digital assets experience in financial services
• Consumer financial services/banking experience

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop partnership strategy with the lines of business, including identifying key elements of the strategy, completing analysis, and making recommendation
• Work cross-functionally within Chase and JPMC and with external partners to identify, negotiate, and execute key partnerships and acquisitions that drive business results and support the business strategy
• Develop and help deliver specific proposals with the lines of business, including overall vision, economics, and product definition
• Work in conjunction with finance, legal and other functional partners to develop financial business cases, product constructs and key terms associated with partnerships / acquisitions
• Monitor external environment for important competitive developments and potential partnership opportunities and communicate more broadly to key line of business partners as necessary
