About The Position

The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by both booking business directly and by referring, as appropriate, to internal business partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management. Essential Functions/Responsibilities include performing necessary functions to open accounts, running a Teller drawer as deemed necessary by management, and supporting client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow-up. Daily activities align with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience), including partnering with appropriate internal constituencies to bring the appropriate level of expertise to the client, ensuring client follow-up calls are conducted in the proper time frame, and maintaining all operational and risk management standards. The CB is responsible for adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures and functions as the client's personal trusted advisor by adding value and building deep client relationships. The role also involves participating and leading in the First Financial Bank Experience by being active in site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities, consistently meeting or exceeding sales, service, and referral goals set by management, and providing digital assistance and service for clients.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years client service experience in a retail environment.
  • 2-3 years sales and service experience with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in a retail environment.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree and/or equivalent work experience in sales is preferred.
  • Possesses strong sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and lead in the First Financial Bank Experience by being active in site center huddles and meetings.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management.
  • Provide digital assistance and service for clients establishing or needing support in utilizing the bank's online offerings.
  • Stay informed and up to date on all bank products, processes, and procedures.
