The Consumer Banker at First Financial Bank (FFB) plays a crucial role in fostering and deepening client relationships. This position involves working with existing FFB clients while also prospecting for new clients. The primary goal is to enhance client engagement by booking business directly and referring clients to internal business partners, such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management, as appropriate. The Consumer Banker is expected to perform essential functions necessary for opening accounts and maintaining them, as well as managing a Teller drawer when required by management. Daily activities are aligned with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience), which includes active client engagement through calling, conversations, and follow-ups. The Consumer Banker must partner with internal teams to provide the appropriate level of expertise to clients, ensuring that follow-up calls are conducted within the proper time frame. Adherence to operational and risk management standards is critical, and the Consumer Banker will also assist clients in transacting business through various channels, including the branch, drive-thru, phone, and email. In addition to these responsibilities, the Consumer Banker is expected to model the way for peers and coworkers in alignment with First Financial's Mission and Values. This role requires functioning as a personal trusted advisor to clients, adding value, and building deep relationships through the First Client Conversation Model. The Consumer Banker will participate in site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities, consistently meeting or exceeding sales, service, and referral goals set by management. Providing digital assistance and support for clients utilizing the bank's online offerings is also a key component of this role. Staying informed about all bank products, processes, and procedures, especially the more complex ones, is essential for success in this position.
