Responsibilities

  • Assist First Atlantic Federal Credit Union to live out our Mission to provide best value financial services to members by providing outstanding service to both members and internal members.
  • Provide quality member service and promote Credit Union loan products.
  • Examine, evaluate, and authorize or recommend approval of member applications for loans.
  • Aid all Departments and Branches to ensure that general loan information given is accurate and timely.
  • Communicate with members to obtain missing information, comply with due diligence requirements, and verify collateral.
  • Review loan applications to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, financial condition as well as cross-sale opportunities.
  • Prepare and/or review all loan documents for completeness and accuracy including quality control of funded loan files.
  • Provide product/service information to Credit Union members by answering questions.
  • Review and fund all indirect auto loans.
  • Prepare loan work sheet, insurance record, credit report, and application copy for each loan as necessary.
  • Review all post-funding loan documentation.
  • Compare original application against credit report.
  • Maintain Documentation to ensure that all information has been correctly identified in the Credit Union core system.
  • Follow current loans to ensure compliance with terms and coordinate with Asset Recovery.
  • Provide quality back-ups for all the other members of the Lending Service team.
