About The Position

Experienced Scrum Master who can lead Agile delivery for Ariba Buying channels (GB, Catalog, Spot Buy), orchestrate source‑to‑pay workflows, and manage integrations with S/4HANA. This role bridges product ownership, engineering, and business to deliver resilient, compliant, and scalable procurement capabilities in a regulated (GxP-aware) pharma environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years as Scrum Master in SAP programs; strong backlog management, metrics (velocity/burndown), and scaled Agile exposure (SAFe/Kanban).
  • Hands‑on with Buying/Guided Buying, Catalogs, Spot Buy, Approval workflows, Supplier enablement, and Buying Channel policies.
  • Solid understanding of MM, FI (tax, posting), BP/vendor master, sourcing-to-pay flows; experience with CPI/Integration Suite, IDoc/API patterns.
  • Channel strategy design, exception handling, compliance controls, and sandbox-to-prod promotion discipline.
  • Worked in GSK or comparable global pharma/life‑sciences or other highly regulated environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Fieldglass, Ariba SLP/SIPM/Contracts, or Ariba Network operations
  • Experience with Concur/Workday touchpoints for supplier/worker data
  • Knowledge of AI/automation use cases (catalog enrichment, anomaly detection in invoices, guided policy tips)
  • CSM/PSM, SAFe, Ariba, SAP Integration Suite/CPI

Responsibilities

  • Scrum/Agile Leadership: Facilitate Scrum events, enforce Agile practices, shield teams, remove impediments; drive velocity and predictable increments.
  • Buying Channel Orchestration: Design and optimize channeling rules, approvals, categories, catalogs, Spot Buy, and guided buying policies; harmonize across business units and countries.
  • Integration Ownership: Oversee Ariba–S/4HANA integration (POs, GR/IR, invoicing, tax, supplier master, accounting) via CPI/Cloud Connector/APIs/IDocs; coordinate cutovers and transport strategy.
  • Process & Compliance: Ensure SoX/GxP/Privacy alignment; define controls, audit trails, and segregation of duties; support regression and UAT.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with Procurement, Finance, Tax, IT Security, Master Data, Supplier Enablement, and External SIs; run governance and report on OKRs/RAID.
  • Run & Stabilization: Lead incident/problem management, hypercare, release planning, and continuous improvement with measurable outcomes (cycle time, touchless rates).
  • Value Realization: Champion guided buying adoption, catalog compliance, no‑touch invoices, and cost savings; track benefits and user experience metrics.
