The Consulting Technical Analyst will be a resource to the technical personnel assigned to the facilities and coordinates consistent support of technical services and implementation activity within the hospital. This individual also assists in organization of highly complex issues regarding technical services, assists in facility technical projects, assists in developing strategies for training and tools for Technical Services across the division, and participates in onboarding new technical staff. The Consulting Technical Analyst champions standardization, utilization, optimization, and use of best practices in Technical Services. The Consulting Technical Analyst participates in facility-based project planning, strategic planning, and supplements on-site support to technical resources, as needed. The Consulting Technical Analyst will understand and support a broad range of facility-based IT&S equipment, define standards, and create supporting technical documentation. Advanced hands-on technical support is provided across a broad range of technical areas and this position will act as part of a mobile project team, as needed. Problems beyond the scope of ability or responsibility of the Technical Analyst team are communicated in a timely manner to appropriate division-level support staff. The Consulting Technical Analyst will act in concert with Division departments and Facility IT staff. The Consulting Technical Analyst adheres to and supports HCA IT policies and procedures, and recommends process changes that improve the implementation, maintenance and support of facility-based IT equipment.
