About The Position

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Studio Senior in Seattle, Washington and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. The role involves driving software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Responsibilities include participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams, and identifying changes in scope. The position also requires driving the evaluation of technology needs, developing customized applications, drafting technical and functional design documentation, and identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for engagements. Additionally, the role involves performing assessments of existing information systems, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. The position offers exposure to multiple industries and service lines while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
  • 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Experience in designing and developing applications using Node.js, Express, NPM, React, TypeScript, API Design and Development, Postman, and MS Visual Studio Code IDE.
  • Experience in performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and SDLC utilizing SQL and NoSQL databases, ORM, diagrams.net, Microservices, Azure, and AWS.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining coding standards using ESLint and Prettier.
  • Experience in performing software development in local, staging, and production environments and web service testing using Postman.
  • Experience in aspects of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, application configuration design, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, utilizing Agile methodology, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Architecture and Design patterns, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Experience in delivering and deploying custom developed applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit testing, configuration and defect management, and production deployment, utilizing Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jest, Jest-Junit, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD Automation.
