About The Position

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Manager in Morristown, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. The role involves leading SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. The Senior Manager will direct the overall information technology project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions, selecting the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements, and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Responsibilities include managing service excellence, leading the information technology project proposal development process, and improving internal processes while promoting SAP knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
• Four years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and six years of progressive related work experience.
• Experience managing overall project strategy by analyzing a variety of business solutions.
• Experience leading business development activities, including proposal development.
• Experience performing the role of counselor and coach.
• Experience managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors.
• Experience leading components of engagements and modernizing core systems.
• Experience evaluating technology needs and developing strategies for profitability.
• Experience leading global project teams and project delivery.
• Experience leading and managing large SAP S/4 HANA implementations in CPG and Retail industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP software advisory and implementation services.
• Direct the overall information technology project strategy.
• Select relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements.
• Manage service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts.
• Develop recommendations in the context of the overall engagement.
• Lead the information technology project proposal development process.
• Contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
• Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers.
• Manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team.
• Improve internal processes and promote SAP knowledge sharing.
