About The Position

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. The role involves driving the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. The consultant will participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects and help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. The position enables an end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. The consultant will drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. The role also involves performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, estimating time and resources needed for the development work, and transforming detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
• 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Experience in performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in converting legacy data according to current system's data structure using data warehouse concepts.
• Experience in creating technical and functional specifications.
• Experience in recommending, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions.
• Experience in performing root cause analysis and documenting results.
• Experience in application and data migration.
• Experience in tracking application defects and coordinating defect resolution efforts.
• Experience in developing detailed implementation plans for deploying Salesforce functionalities.
