About The Position

The Consulting Senior Analyst is responsible for partnering with KAGR staff to deliver high-impact consulting projects to KAGR's clients across professional and collegiate sports and live entertainment verticals. Leveraging data analysis, system and business process improvement methodologies, and strong project management skills, the Senior Analyst supports the successful execution of diverse consulting initiatives, ensuring KAGR delivers actionable insights and measurable value to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-4 years of experience in a Management Consulting, Technology, or Sports setting
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail is required
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills (particularly using Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and/or other similar tools) is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic analysis skills
  • Must be team-oriented and coachable
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness

Nice To Haves

  • Ideal candidates have proven track record of delivering significant business projects (for internal or external clients) to a high level of quality
  • Experience with technology assessments and implementations is a plus, but not required
  • Some experience managing individuals or projects is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create client-ready deliverables (e.g. PowerPoint slides, Excel models, and supporting materials) that clearly communicate insights, recommendations, and outcomes in a concise, consumable format for clients.
  • Develop innovative approaches to communicating complex concepts, leveraging data visualization and storytelling techniques to translate analysis into clear, actionable insights for clients.
  • Lead client interviews and stakeholder discussions to gather, validate, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from diverse sources, analyzing findings to distill actionable strategic insights tailored to each engagement.
  • Lead client delivery for discrete workstreams within larger strategic initiatives, while supporting analysis and execution across broader, multi-workstream projects.
  • Support overall project management and analytical efforts, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project deliverables.
  • Provide comprehensive support for project findings, including backup analysis, written stakeholder interview summaries, and clearly articulated memos summarizing secondary research.
  • Support the creation of initial strategic hypotheses and iteratively refine them as new data, insights, and client feedback become available
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates
