About The Position

As a Principal Consultant for Oracle Health, you will operate as the subject matter expert (SME) for Medicare and Medicare Cost Reporting projects for the State Government organization’s clients. You will partner with the strategy lead on Medicare-centered projects for health system, and state and federal clients, applying your expertise to Medicare data, tax filings, and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for understanding and writing requirements, communicating with partner development groups, and demonstrating solution functionality to internal and client leadership. You will be accountable for the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, schedules and estimates, providing analytical and operational guidance to the project team, and ensuring client satisfaction for assigned projects. In scope for this role are front-end solutions, analytics, and reporting deliverables for health systems across the United States, all US states, and federal agencies tasked with a healthcare mission.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Medicare data, data design, and relationships pertaining to the member, provider, and claim
  • Partner with the Oracle Health State Government strategy leads to construct Medicare Cost Report solutions using Oracle platform and tools
  • Understand and communicate tax filing rules for CMS filing of Medicare Cost Report
  • Create novel and standard insightful and "actionable" analytic designs
  • Partner with data scientists on predictive and engagement models for financial evaluations and fraud vulnerabilities
  • Communicate with internal and client leadership on findings and material design elements
  • Create level-of-estimates (LOE) for assigned work
