About The Position
The Consulting Principal – Economic Consulting role at S&P Global Market Intelligence is part of the Global Intelligence and Analytics (GIA) consulting team. This team supports customers by providing a comprehensive view of the geographies, sectors, and operating environments that influence organizations, their suppliers, and customers. The role involves designing unique solutions using extensive data and analysis across economics, industry, supply chain, logistics, geopolitics, and risk. The successful candidate will lead client engagements, developing technical and strategic solutions alongside fellow consultants and data teams, focusing on clients in the consumer/retail, manufacturing, and service sectors. Responsibilities include preparing macroeconomic scenarios for stress testing financial institutions, analyzing consumer behavior, and maintaining the US demographics model, tracking population and migration trends across various demographic sectors. This position offers the opportunity to manage large-scale projects, engage with client leaders, and collaborate with a world-class team of experts.
