The position involves technology strategy and consulting to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives in the utilities sector, including electricity, water, gas, and renewable energy. The role requires partnering with clients, internal TCS teams, and third-party technology partners on existing projects, new pursuits, and points of view/proofs of concept to achieve accelerated business outcomes for clients in the Data and Analytics space. The candidate will work closely with various Business Insights Segments, account teams, and customers to analyze and understand business processes, data ecosystems, technology solutions mappings, data architecture, and overall data management principles within the utilities sector. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing business and IT strategies that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, creating points of views, white papers, and offerings relevant to the utilities sector, assisting in the selection, integration, and deployment of data analytics solutions (cloud or hybrid), designing and optimizing cloud-based and on-premise Data & Analytics solutions tailored for the utility industry, and driving digital transformation projects by collaborating with stakeholders. The candidate will also present TCS points of view and thought leadership in the utilities domain at industry forums or other agreed channels.
