About The Position

We are looking for a Manager in the PACE Consulting team. The purpose of this position is to ensure that PACE accelerates the delivery of lasting value to our clients at Rio Tinto by combining PACE’s consulting know-how and internal business knowledge and experience. Reporting to the GM PACE Montreal Hub, you will: Work with the PACE team and business leaders to identify and scope consulting projects which create value for Product Group assets and Functions Autonomously deliver one or more projects at a time, managing the interface and ensuring strong collaboration with the project client and their teams Develop and lead the project work plan for a combined team of consultants and client team members to deliver outcomes Contribute to the development of PACE, both in Montreal & globally, by recruiting, coaching and mentoring PACE consultants etc.

Requirements

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company, and the duties of this position require daily collaboration with colleagues, teams or partners based outside Quebec
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience leading consulting projects within a top-tier consulting firm.
• Proven ability to frame and solve complex business problems, synthesizing diverse inputs into clear insights that inform decisions and drive performance improvement
• A strong understanding of business improvement principles and practices, with a proven ability to deliver tangible results for clients.
• Ability to lead initiatives beyond projects, such as recruitment, people development, and marketing.
• Willingness and availability to travel throughout Canada and abroad.

Responsibilities
