The purpose of this position is to ensure that PACE accelerates the delivery of lasting value to our clients at Rio Tinto by combining PACE’s consulting know-how and internal business knowledge and experience. Reporting to the GM PACE Montreal Hub, you will: Work with the PACE team and business leaders to identify and scope consulting projects which create value for Product Group assets and Functions Autonomously deliver one or more projects at a time, managing the interface and ensuring strong collaboration with the project client and their teams Develop and lead the project work plan for a combined team of consultants and client team members to deliver outcomes Contribute to the development of PACE, both in Montreal & globally, by recruiting, coaching and mentoring PACE consultants etc.

Requirements

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company, and the duties of this position require daily collaboration with colleagues, teams or partners based outside Quebec
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading consulting projects within a top-tier consulting firm.
  • Proven ability to frame and solve complex business problems, synthesizing diverse inputs into clear insights that inform decisions and drive performance improvement
  • A strong understanding of business improvement principles and practices, with a proven ability to deliver tangible results for clients.
  • Ability to lead initiatives beyond projects, such as recruitment, people development, and marketing.
  • Willingness and availability to travel throughout Canada and abroad.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the PACE team and business leaders to identify and scope consulting projects which create value for Product Group assets and Functions

  • Contribute to the development of PACE, both in Montreal & globally, by recruiting, coaching and mentoring PACE consultants etc.
