The Kentucky Consulting Manager role is within the CopLogic organization. Developed by and specifically for law enforcement, LexisNexis® CoplogicTM Solutions provides a suite of solutions aimed at helping law enforcement agencies create workflow efficiencies through advanced technology. Agencies leveraging our solutions achieve significant time savings through the elimination of costly and manual processes enabling them to reallocate resources to higher priority activities. Community members also benefit through increased access to services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Professional Services/Consulting/Leadership experience with a focus on scalability and reusability.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role with profit-and-loss responsibility.
  • Proven experience and understanding of the Agile and Scrum development methodologies utilizing Azure DevOps as the technical management platform.
  • Skilled in breaking down large complex issues into simpler elements that can be effectively addressed.
  • Highly skilled at communicating vision and big picture business scope.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, monitors and manages customer project from initiation through completion.
  • Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management.
  • Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
  • Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
  • Responsible for profit and loss of assigned business unit.
  • Manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex support, production or operations team(s).
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Defines team operating standards and ensures essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline.
  • Sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay decisions, recruitment, discipline etc.
