About The Position

About the Role As a Consulting Manager in Maryville's Technology Strategy & Advisory practice , you will partner with senior executives to shape, define, and deliver technology strategies that drive business growth and transformation. You will lead client engagements, oversee project teams, and develop innovative solutions at the intersection of business and technology. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong technology fluency, proven consulting experience, and a passion for guiding organizations through complex transformations. Key Responsibilities Client Advisory & Strategy Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, helping define technology vision and align it to business strategy. Shape enterprise architecture, digital transformation roadmaps, and technology operating models. Provide guidance on emerging technologies including Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI/GenAI, and modern IT architectures. Delivery & Execution Lead the delivery of complex consulting engagements, ensuring quality outcomes and measurable business impact. Manage project teams and workstreams, mentoring team members and guiding their professional development. Develop business cases, operating models, and implementation roadmaps to drive technology transformation. Business Development & Thought Leadership Support sales efforts through proposal development, solution shaping, and client presentations. Contribute to thought leadership by creating intellectual capital, market insights, and innovative assets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with client stakeholders to drive new opportunities. Team Leadership Serve as a People Lead, providing coaching, feedback, and career guidance for team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

Requirements

7–10+ years of experience in technology consulting or strategy roles, preferably with a top-tier consulting firm.
Proven track record of leading client-facing technology strategy or transformation engagements.
Strong knowledge of at least one of the following domains: Cloud transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Data & Analytics, AI/GenAI, IT Operating Models, or Technology Cost Optimization.
Demonstrated ability to build business cases, drive consensus, and deliver executive-level presentations.
Strong leadership skills, including experience managing teams and mentoring junior consultants.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

MBA or advanced degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
Experience working directly with C-suite executives.
Familiarity with emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, blockchain, platform business models).
