Consulting Manager - Property Casualty Insurance

The Insurance group is looking for a Consulting Manager to join our journey. Consulting Managers have the opportunity to deliver immediate value to clients by working with a project-based team of consultants. As a Consulting Manager, you will analyze our insurance clients' business and technology challenges and build creative solutions to drive transformation. You will be responsible for participating in the requirements analysis process, developing strong working relationships with clients and team members and building industry and domain expertise. Specifically, as a Lead Business Analyst, you will partner with clients and project stakeholders, clarify requirements, and support delivery of effective solutions. You will also contribute to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings and promote team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects.

Responsibilities

• Draw conclusions from the market / industry trends, client issues and support go to market initiatives for Cognizant
• Utilize company methodologies to present and implement strategic and technological solutions
• Provide domain expertise to impact large transformation opportunities in the insurance space for multi-tower deals
• Communicate with business partners, delivering weekly project status reporting, and strategizing priorities for timely resolution
• Leverage specific engagement solutions as marketable Cognizant solution offerings
• Develop practice capabilities and brand recognition by exercising thought leadership
• Participate in People Care activities, Mentor and support less experienced Consultants

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum five years of business experience in L&A Insurance domain; Consulting industry experience preferred
• Experience with Agile Scrum software development framework preferred
• Ability to grasp business needs and assess impacts to complex business operations and systems
• Possess creative and analytical skills
• Work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
• Willingness to travel up to 80%
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Access, Project etc.
