About The Position

As a Consultant in the ET&P-Finance & Performance team at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in making an impact that matters. Your work will involve collaborating with teams to analyze client operations, gather data, and develop strategies to enhance finance operations and stakeholder management. You will assist finance organizations in solving complex challenges and delivering solutions that create significant impact within their organizations and at the market level. The role requires a strong interest in consulting and advisory services, with a focus on finance-related technologies and processes.

Requirements

• Strong interest in consulting and/or advisory client service.
• CA Qualified - 1st Attempt preferred or a postgraduate degree in Finance from a premium institute.
• Prior experience managing end-to-end client engagements and programs.
• Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience in managing teams.
• Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently.
• Knowledge of finance-related technologies like BPM tools and Enterprise Performance Management tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with teams to analyze client operations and gather data.
• Assist Finance organizations in solving complex challenges and adding greater value to the business.
• Advise clients and finance executives on strategies to support enterprise-wide decision-making and improve finance operations.
• Equip CFOs and finance function leaders with a strategic agenda and deliver solutions to create impact.
• Assess the current performance of the finance function and identify areas for improvement around operating models and processes.
• Standardize and simplify business processes to enable cost-effective operations using technology.
• Assess month-end closing and reporting processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist finance in defining effective performance measures and KPIs to focus on strategy delivery.
• Standardize and improve planning processes to create alignment and synergies.
