We are seeking a Consulting Employee (Project Management & Field Operations) to join our Montana-based training and UAS range operations team. In this role, you will help plan, coordinate, and execute Special Operations Forces (SOF) training activities and support UAS integration across air and ground range services. You’ll collaborate with state and federal partners, manage projects from concept through completion, and contribute to a high‑performing team dedicated to delivering world‑class solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience. Additional years of relevant experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute education requirements.
  • US Citizen; Currently possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI after hire.
  • Experience with SOF training processes and with individual services METL.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of military regulations and publications.
  • Experience leading training execution, projects, and tactical operations.
  • Ability to write reports and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% CONUS customer and company sites as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience.
  • Possess an active PMP certification.
  • Experience with MS Project, Office, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience with FAA Part 107 guidelines.
  • Familiarity with Multi-Domain Operations.
  • Experience with operational airborne ISR.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

  • Support project execution by defining objectives, developing timelines, coordinating resources, and tracking progress to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate SOF training plans aligned with operational readiness and Mission Essential Task Lists (METL).
  • Assist with logistics planning and execution for training events.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including objectives, schedules, tasks, and scope.
  • Manage a master schedule of training events and internal support requirements.
  • Ensure administrative requirements for staff are completed accurately and on time.
  • Serve as a liaison with state and federal government partners and external agencies.
  • Provide support and guidance to site manager in the execution of daily activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Leidos operations, safety, and maintenance policies.
  • Assist in drafting Statements of Work and managing subcontractors.
  • Ensure personnel are trained in accordance with Leidos procedures.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement enhancements.
  • Strategically plan, allocate, and manage project resources.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success.
  • Support maintenance and administration of Landowner User Agreements (LUA).
  • Maintain UAS air vehicles in accordance with OEM and Leidos standards.
  • Support emerging projects and initiatives within the broader campaign.
