We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consulting Controller to join our Integra Consulting team. The Consulting Controller will oversee client financial operations, ensure compliance with GAAP standards, manage and mentor accounting teams, and provide strategic financial guidance to clients and internal leadership. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong full-cycle accounting expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for clients.

  • Partner with clients, and other teammates to understand business goals and design financial frameworks that align with client objectives.
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple client engagements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide strategic recommendations through financial storytelling and clear communication of results.
  • Supervise and mentor Accounting Managers and Staff Accountants, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in deliverables.
  • Allocate resources by developing accounting cost budgets, estimating team hours, and managing utilization against client budgets.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline client financial processes and implement best practices.
  • Leverage technology (QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and other accounting systems) to improve efficiency and client experience.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.
  • Collaborate with CFOs and Tax Managers on financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex financial data into insights that drive decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA designation preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Prior Controller or Consulting Controller experience highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple client engagements.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and other cloud-based accounting systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and train/mentor accounting staff.
