About The Position

Help clients in the life sciences sector with strategic growth, business transformation, and commercial excellence. Work with a broad spectrum of life sciences organizations including large biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, and medical technology industries. Build solutions, coordinate large engagements and innovation in the market. Provide consulting services to life sciences clients in the following areas: business transformation, commercial data and analytics, commercial strategy, market access, growth strategy, and enterprise transformation. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology, Medicine, Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology, Medicine, Science or related field and 4 years of related work experience.
  • Must have 4 years of external life sciences advisory or external life sciences consulting experience.
  • Must have 4 years of biotechnology industry or pharmaceutical industry experience providing advisory services in 1 or a combination of the following areas: • Commercial analytics  • Brand strategy  • Pricing and market access  • Commercial operations model transformation  • Digital campaign management strategy.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in Life Science commercial strategy with a focus on operational models.
  • Must have 4 years of experience working in a Strategy focused boutique life sciences or an internal strategy role with top biopharma clients.
  • Must have 3 years of experience managing a team of consulting professionals advising life sciences clients.
  • Must have 3 years of experience utilizing pharmaceutical datasets, including pricing databases, prescription, and claims databases.
  • Must have 4 years of experience utilizing MS Excel and PowerPoint to perform duties related to commercial analytics, forecasting, and communicating output from consulting project to client teams.
  • Must have 3 years of experience advising life sciences clients in 2 of the following areas: business transformation, commercial operations, commercial data and analytics, commercial strategy, market access, growth strategy, operating model optimization, and/or technology implementation and enterprise transformation.
  • Must have 4 years of experience with life sciences commercial operations and analytics.
  • Requires travel up to 60%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
