Requirements

  • BS in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or engineering. Or equivalent experience.
  • Recent graduate to 3 years of relevant experience, with interest in field assignments.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to Health and Safety protocols.
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce detailed technical reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Detail-oriented with mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to multi-task, travel, and work with minimal supervision.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Environmental field work experience.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support remediation system design and installation.
  • Conduct piping system assessments and prepare Piping & Instrumentation Design drawings.
  • Perform field work: sampling, drilling, well installation, remedial pilot tests, construction oversight, and system operation/maintenance.
  • Assist with groundwater sampling and performance monitoring.
  • Compile and evaluate environmental data (soil, groundwater, air, sediment).
  • Prepare regulatory reports and supporting figures/exhibits.
  • Conduct Phase I and II environmental site assessments for property transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulatory agents, tenants, and clients during field activities.
  • Manage tasks within quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
