About The Position

Carle Health is seeking BE/BC Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Department in Champaign, Illinois. Join a dynamic department that consists of Child Psychiatrists, Adult Psychiatrists, Ph.D. Psychologists, Therapists, Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners, and Psychometricians. This position offers the opportunity to do some psychotherapy, consult liaison, addiction psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, both inpatient and outpatient. The facility is extremely established and is part of an integrated system with a large referral base, providing a supportive environment for professional growth.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Nice To Haves

• Interest in academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine

Responsibilities

• Conduct 60 - 90 minute new patient evaluations
• Manage a maximum of 14 patients per day
• Provide psychotherapy and consult liaison services
• Engage in addiction psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry
