The Consultant, Threat Management & Protective Intelligence plays a critical role in safeguarding associates, executives, and corporate travelers through proactive risk assessment and intelligence support. In this highly specialized role, you’ll provide real‑time threat analysis and guidance to traveling associates, including detailed intelligence briefings, risk‑focused travel training, and coordination of destination‑site security as needed. This position is based onsite in Columbus, OH. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the global geopolitical landscape and extensive international travel experience to effectively identify and communicate emerging risks. You’ll also coordinate activities of the Executive Protection team and deliver timely, actionable intelligence to support corporate travelers and executive movements. The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of proven Protective Intelligence experience, 2 years in Global Security with a focus on global travel, and 2 years developing metrics and reports. Our Security team monitors security needs and assist associates with security and safety-related issues. The role of the Consultant, Threat Management is to handle the risk around the threats we receive. You will serve as on the Incident Management Team, research and report intelligence related to threat risks and provide reports to company executives. When a catastrophic weather event is declared, you will represent the security organization on the response team. You’ll also be responsible for coordinating the activity of the executive protection team and provide intelligence to corporate travelers regarding risk. Requirements

  • Minimum high school graduate
  • Have 2 years developing metrics and reports
  • 5-8 years of proven experience in security risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, Microsoft office skills, investigative aptitude, and highly organized.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as security representative to the Incident Management Team.
  • Determine risk of the threats and our response to the threat.
  • Monitor the threat and adjust as needed.
  • Provide support to traveling associates regarding the risks involved with travel to include intelligence briefing, training and coordinating site security at the destination as needed.
  • Monitor and report on threats found in public and private sources.
  • Research the threats, determine the response and report threats to leadership.
  • Develop organizational performance metrics regarding threat response.
  • Coordinate the efforts of the executive protection team.
  • Analyze threats, conduct site assessments and coordinate the training and response of the team
  • Manage our response to catastrophes by determining security needs, developing plans and executing to meet the threat.
  • Create awareness, educate and distribute materials for WFH associates about the risks they face.
  • Report risks and develop metrics for various risk committees and company executives.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
