About The Position

Our vision is to create a safe and sustainable world. Our Strategy & Advisory / Strategic Consulting team provides strategic, commercial, and technical advisory services that support clients navigating complex, engineering-driven decisions across mobility, energy, and industrial markets. Position Summary We are seeking a Consultant to support client-facing projects across electrification, EV platforms, AI-enabled systems, autonomous vehicles, and adjacent markets including industrial equipment, energy systems, off-highway, rail, marine, and advanced manufacturing. This role is execution-focused and analytical, supporting senior team members by translating strategic questions into structured analyses, coordinated workstreams, and high-quality client deliverables. The Consultant will apply transferable strategy and analytical frameworks across multiple sectors while building depth in emerging technologies and markets. This is a fast-paced consulting environment, and successful candidates should be comfortable working across multiple parallel projects or supporting high-intensity engagements with tight timelines and evolving priorities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, engineering, strategy, or analytical roles.
  • Background or strong exposure to automotive, EV, autonomous vehicles, AI-enabled systems, or closely related technical fields.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply concepts across adjacent industrial, energy, or mobility markets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Relevant professional experience in engineering, consulting, strategy, or analytical roles within automotive, EV, autonomous systems, AI-enabled technologies, or adjacent engineering-led markets.
  • Demonstrated experience applying engineering fundamentals to strategic, commercial, or analytical problem-solving.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, project-based environments, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience spanning multiple sectors (e.g., automotive plus industrial, energy, rail, marine, or off-highway)
  • Familiarity with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, technology providers, or engineering-led organizations.
  • Experience supporting market assessment, technology commercialization, strategic planning, or mergers & acquisition efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of client-facing and internal strategic advisory projects across automotive, EV, autonomy/AI, and adjacent engineering-led markets.
  • Assist with analyses including market assessments, competitive benchmarking, value chain mapping, cost and “should-cost” analysis, and technology positioning.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Contribute to client-ready presentations, briefing materials, meeting preparation, and follow-ups.
  • Conduct structured research on EV architectures, autonomous vehicle ecosystems, AI applications, and emerging technologies, as well as adjacent sectors such as energy transition, industrial systems, and advanced manufacturing.
  • Synthesize technical, regulatory, and market inputs into clear insights and executive-level summaries.
  • Support development of quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., adoption scenarios, cost drivers, market sizing, technology roadmaps)
  • Maintain project documentation, trackers, templates, and internal knowledge repositories.
  • Support internal team routines such as knowledge sharing and lessons learned.
  • Assist with preparation of internal status updates, dashboards, and progress reporting.
  • Support development and refinement of reusable frameworks, templates, and analytical tools used across strategic consulting engagements.
  • Help adapt existing methodologies (e.g., benchmarking, cost modeling, strategic assessments) for use in new markets or technology contexts.
  • Document assumptions, best practices, and lessons learned to enable consistent and scalable delivery.
  • Support proposal development by contributing research, analysis, and presentation content across automotive and adjacent markets
  • Assist senior team members in client discussions involving high-uncertainty decisions, such as EV transition strategies, AI and autonomy adoption, regulatory change, and energy transition impacts.
