This Co-op experience provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies. In addition to daily responsibilities, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a series of structured activities designed to enhance their learning experience including: Co-Op New Hire Orientation Senior Leadership Speaker Series Social & Networking Events Presentation Challenges At the conclusion of this position, co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how client services and consultant relations works at an asset manager. MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment, working Monday – Friday (July 7th through December 18th, 2026), and work between 35-40 hours. Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements. Job Summary Within MFS, the Global Consultant Relations Team works to establish strong relationships with the consultant community and ensure our strategies are favorably rated by these firms. This co-op role will mainly support the efforts of the global consultant relations team in home and satellite offices. Responsibilities will be varied with considerable time allocated to careful review and maintenance of MFS’ data in the consultant databases and updating consultant database profiles. Additionally, the co-op will be working with our CRM system C360, researching relevant topics through consultant authored white papers, and completing special projects as by the team. For in-person meetings tasks will include producing presentation materials for the team and assisting with meeting set up. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and have a solid working knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

  • QC monthly performance – ensure completion of monthly/quarterly matrix
  • Verify quarterly data sent to databases is complete and date the matrix
  • Complete various language reviews/updates across the databases including but not limited to ESG, DEI, Personnel, and strategy narratives
  • Run and format holdings
  • Download eVestment profiles and advantage reports
  • Help with creating and maintaining reference documents for future co-ops (co-op manual etc.)
  • Help with Salesforce system & data integrity
  • Researching relevant topics through consultant authored white papers
  • Producing presentation materials for the team (if able to host in-person meetings)
  • Assisting with meeting set up (if able to host in-person meetings)
  • Completing special projects as required by the team
