About The Position

The Consultant, Portfolio Strategy at Colliers is responsible for leading and managing complex business and real estate analytical projects. This role involves working closely with the SVP of Portfolio Strategy Consulting to develop innovative studies for clients, focusing on identifying transaction opportunities and creating business cases for change. The position requires strong analytical problem-solving skills, digital capabilities, and the ability to synthesize complex issues into actionable solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • MBA or M.S. in Real Estate is preferred.
  • Ability to lead studies in business intelligence platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Experience and/or familiarity with IWMS and CAFM systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking and well-analyzed decision-making skills.
  • Experience in real estate is mandatory; management consulting practice is preferred.
  • Training or experience in location, economic, and/or site selection methodology is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead real estate portfolio consulting assignments using analytical frameworks and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Identify supply-side location and property-level opportunities for Enterprise clients.
  • Develop business cases that justify action and change.
  • Conduct commercial real estate portfolio optimization, location strategy, site selection, and planning studies.
  • Create commercial-grade consulting presentations integrating multiple media types.
  • Lead development of business analytics and key performance indicators, synthesizing and presenting consulting solutions to clients.
  • Utilize expertise in financial modeling and market analytics.
