As a Consultant Pharmacist at Omnicare, a subsidiary of CVS Health, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with facility leaders and staff to coordinate pharmaceutical services within long-term care facilities. This role is essential in guiding the development and evaluation of pharmaceutical services procedures, ensuring that facilities remain compliant with federal regulations, and addressing pharmacy-related concerns that affect resident care and quality of life. You will be working on-site in various client facilities, performing clinical reviews, and driving the adoption of Omnicare programs and service offerings. In this position, you will conduct Medication Regimen Reviews (MRR) and utilize the Minimum Data Set (MDS 3.0) health assessment tool to identify residents needing targeted focuses. You will also be responsible for educating facility staff on new programs and ensuring that all consulting activities are documented and reported accurately. This is a full-time position requiring travel to long-term care facilities across Texas, with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday based on business needs. Overnight travel may be required, but there is no on-call requirement for this role.
