This role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates will begin on-site for an initial onboarding period until they are acclimated to the team and responsibilities. We have offices located in Amherst, Boston, Hartford, Portland and Westford.

Requirements

  • Degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or a closely related discipline, with at least 2 years of experience in Health & Safety management and demonstrated knowledge of occupational Health & Safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering presentations as well as writing comprehensive technical reports and standards. This also includes strong MS Office computer skills; advanced understanding of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word desired.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines, and traveling to client locations as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certifications, or on path to achieving certification, highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and deliver client-facing health, safety and industrial hygiene services: produce high-quality work, steward client relationships, and identify value‑add opportunities.
  • Lead and execute EHS consulting engagements across diverse sectors (manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, extractives, energy, construction, transportation, telecoms, and services).
  • Perform EHS compliance audits and implement corrective actions to meet federal, state and local regulations; assess worker exposures and recommend controls.
  • Develop, implement and improve written H&S programs, policies and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001), including hazard communication, LOTO, respiratory protection, confined space, fall protection, PPE, contractor safety, ergonomics, etc.
  • Conduct incident investigations and root‑cause analyses to drive corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement.
